Quote for the week
“The first half of life consists of the capacity to enjoy without the chance; the last half consists of the chance without the capacity.”

Are you having fun? Today? In life? Well I can tell you that if I were to evaluate my entire life on my “Fun Meter” my score today would probably hover somewhere in the 4-5 area (on a 1-10 scale). Why is it that so few people and I include myself in this group, life lives filled with a fun mindset day in and day out? Yes we all have our fun moments – a party, a vacation, a special celebration, etc but I’m not talking here about those special fun moments but living life each moment and each day with a fun mindset? I have asked myself frequently why haven’t I had more fun during my life. Stress? Work? Frustration? The constant uncertainty ahead? My share of failure, problems or adversity or is it something else – that I feel guilty having fun more often or just don’t know how? I don’t know about you but as the years pass fun becomes more and more important and to be able to laugh, play, enjoy and just embrace all that life offers from a mindset of fun.
What’s the reading on your Fun Meter today? This year?
