Quote for the week
“If a man is proud of his wealth, he should not be praised until it is known how he employs it.”
– Socrates
TimBit for the week
I know the stress of inadequate funds to handle even the basics of life. I’ve been there as I’m sure many of you have at one time or other during your life. Maybe you are there now like millions of others in the country. Generally speaking money – the excess of it or the lack of it isn’t generally the problem. The problem is usually people’s attitudes towards money and its purpose in their life. They deserve it. They don’t deserve it. They will do anything to get it or keep it. They are capable of happiness and enjoying the gift of life with or without it. It is the major contributor to their feelings of self-worth or self-esteem. They need it to look good, feel good or feel in control. This list is endless. Too many people allow money regardless of how much they have, spend or need contribute to their stress in life and I for one am here to tell you that money or the lack of it won’t kill you but the stress will.
Question for the week
How are you handling the stress caused by money whether you have too much or not enough?
