Many of us have heard the maxim:
“If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.”
What this maxim does is point us towards the importance of values.
But whose values? Which ones?
Does those values come from within me, our outside of me? Or from beyond me?
For example. Is it the values imposed by law? Those can be shifting sands. What was legal yesterday, may become illegal today.
