Quote for the week
“And in the end it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”
~ Abe Lincoln
Tim-bit for the week
Freedom is an attitude. Everyone is free to the degree they choose freedom over slavery. There are many kinds of slavery. Slavery to a person, an ideal, an institution, the past, the future, a cause, a principle, an ideal, a habit, a condition, an emotion or a set of reactions or attitudes.
Being free is your ability to look at life, a person, yourself or an event as a teacher rather than something that is inevitable or ritualistic. It is the ability to see freedom as your birthright and a choice.
Everything in life offers choices. We can choose freedom or we can choose to be a prisoner. Freedom is your ability to own your own life, to choose in every situation what you want in your life.
