An electrical explosion and resulting fire at a Palm Harbor Homes facility in Fort Worth, Tex. sent a worker to the burn unit at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Monday, July 29. He was conscious and alert when he was transported by helicopter ambulance after the electrical panel exploded and caught fire. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, according to what star-telegram reports to MHProNews. The electrical panel continued to be energized until power to the building was cut. Firefighters did not find any other evidence of fire at the factory that produces manufactured homes.
